WHAT IS 7D HIFU?

HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) uses concentrated ultrasound energy to the face and neck by a handheld device. It is a non-invasive treatment that helps stimulates the cells, resulting in tissue rejuvenation and collagen production. The overall effect of the treatment is to promote tightening and lifting of the skin in these areas.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 7D & 4D HIFU?

Each generation of HIFU is stronger, more focused, and safer. 7D HIFU uses the MICRO high energy focused ultrasound system which has a smaller focus point than other 3D 4D HIFU machines. It also transmits focused ultrasound accurately at the target layer and increase the temperature 65C -75C more precisely without damaging the tissues around.
Research has proven more dramatic changes after 7D HIFU treatment such as the softening of the mouth, tightening of the skin in the neck and jaw line compared to 4D HIFU. 7D HIFU has a unique 2mm cartridge, which can be used around the eyes to reduce crow’s feet and wrinkles around the eyes more safely and effectively. 2mm cartridge makes a significant effect in lifting eyebrows too.

HOW MANY SESSIONS IS RECOMMENDED?The number of treatments depends on each individual's skin type and elasticity, the biological response to ultrasound energy and the individual’s collagen-building process. We would generally recommend 1-3 treatments depending on the area treated and the results strived for.

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

Results should last more than a year. If lines/Wrinkles are deep, we may have to do another session in 3 months to get the activated collagen producing cells to get into its best potential.

PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE

Preparation

Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanning. Sun burned or tanned skin will not be treated.
All skin irritants must be stopped (glycolic/ salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol products such as Retin A, Tazorac, Triluma, Differin, and Vitamin C) on the area being treated.

Aftercare

Do not apply an ice pack as this can reduce the effectiveness of the treatment
Avoid using tweezers, waxes and depilatory creams until at least 3 days after the treatment
Avoid hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and heavy exercise for a couple of days.
Use only a light exfoliator and moisturiser on the day of the treatment, but after that your normal skin cleansing and care regime can be resumed.
Apply a sunblock with a SPF of at least 30 on the day of the treatment and subsequent days, to avoid irritation from direct exposure to sunlight.
