ABOUT ULTRASOUND FAT CAVITATION AND RADIO FREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING TREATMENT
Ultrasound Fat Cavitation and Radio Frequency uses Cavitation combined with different Radio Frequencies to allow your body to break down fat cells. The combination of handles causes the walls of the fat cells to rupture, releasing the fatty liquid to be absorbed into the bloodstream for your body to process as waste. This treatment has been coupled with Radio Frequency which triggers collagen and elastin production, tightening the skin immediately.

HOW IS RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) USED TO TIGHTEN THE SKIN?

A RF modality is used to further enhance treatment results. As the RF energy meets resistance in the tissue, the generated heat is deposited deeply into the dermis causing immediate collage contraction and regeneration, improving wrinkles and skin laxity. The thermal effect of RF energy can further reduce cellulite & excess body fat. The distribution of energy is safe, controlled and extremely effective for body shaping treatments.
HOW DOES RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) HELP WITH CELLULITE REDUCTION?

WHAT HANDLES ARE USED IN THE TREATMENT AND WHAT ARE THEIR USE?

1. Radio Frequency (RF) handle:
The RF handle is used for transmitting radio-wave energy and generating an electric field for entering into subcutaneous tissue through the skin surface. As the papillary dermis collagen shrinks when the temperature is within the range from 60 to 70 celcius degree the client may immediately sense the skin tightening effects as it is being lifted and firmed. When collagen is produced continuously it eliminates the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, eliminate scars, restore skin elasticity and gloss. While collagen is increased, fresh skin is generated and wrinkles are removed. This also helps to enhance blood circulation, accelerate the decomposition of fat, take away wastes and enhances the effect of removing cellulite.

2. Ultrasonic Fat Cavitation Handle:
With collective strong sound wave of 40000HZ cavitation impacting fat cells fiercely and causing friction motion between fat cells. This may cause effective consumption of calories and moisture in fat cells and reduction of their size. What's more, sound wave vibration may cause fierce impact of fat cells to make them explode instantaneously, reduce the amount of fat cells and thereby achieve the effects of removing fat.

3. Vacuum Radio Frequency (RF) handle:
For body re-shaping and weight loss. Vaccum+RF can promote tissue metabolism, reduce the appearance of cellulite.
CONSULTATION AND TREATMENT PROCESS

Consultation will run for 5 minutes which will include consultation form. The treatments are 20 minutes per body area. The more body areas you do the longer the treatment will be.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY SERVICE?

During the service, glycerine gel will be used to help the handles glide over the skin. The client may hear a light ringing sound during the use of the Ultrasound Cavitation handle. During the use of the Radio Frequency handle, the skin will feel a nice warm feeling, due to the heat from the handle.

WHAT ARE SINGLE SESSIONS AND DOUBLE SESSIONS?

A single session is normally 20 minutes per treatment area.

What does a double session mean?
It means that instead of booking in a single session totalling up to 20 minutes for just one body area, you can book 2x 20 mins (total 40 mins) on one body area. So this means instead of the therapist splitting the 20 minutes on an area, for example 10 minutes per leg, if you choose a double session you would receive the full 20 minutes on one leg and another 20 minutes on the other leg (totalling up to 40 mins).

PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE
Preparation
-
You should not eat 2 hours before the treatment.
-
Avoid alcoholic or caffeine beverages before the day of the treatment.
-
Make sure the body is properly hydrated and nourished. Drink at least 2 litres of water and consume healthy foods in the 24 hours prior to treatment.
-
Dry body brushing and moisturising your skin to jumpstart detoxification prior to treatment is advised.
Aftercare
-
Stay hydrated: Drink approximately 2-3 litres of water during the course of the day after the procedure. This will help hydrate your body and facilitate the metabolism and elimination of the lipids and glycerides that are broken down by the treatment.
-
Massage the treated area: Massage the treated area with your finger tips for approximately 10 minutes shortly following the procedure. This will help stimulate the metabolism of the disintegrated fat cells and further enhance the elimination of fat in the area treated.
-
Avoid alcoholic or caffeine beverages: Avoid alcoholic or caffeine beverages after the treatment. The metabolism of alcohol will inhibit the metabolic breakdown of the disintegrated fat cells and impede the elimination of fat in the area treated.
-
Exercise: A minimum of 20 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio exercise is required post-treatment. This is best to be done immediately after the treatment, and for three days following. This is to ensure the stored energy released by the cavitation process is burnt off. If cardio is not your style, this where infrared sauna sessions may assist, as it has a similar effect on the body.
-
Diet:You should not eat 1 hour after the treatment.Maintaining a low calorie, low carbohydrate, low fat and low sugar diet for 24 hours pre-treatment and three days post-treatment will help achieve the best results. This is to ensure your body utilises the triglycerides (a type of body fat) released by the fat cavitation process. Lots of greens and fresh fruits is recommended.
-
Shower:Do not have a hot shower (warm is alright), spa or sauna 24 hours after treatment.
-
Dry skin brush:Using a dry skin brush daily will help stimulate lymph movement.
-
Following this protocol will ensure that you achieve the optimum results from your ultrasonic cavitation therapy.
For Best Results
-
For optimum results, we recommend doing the treatment every 72 hours to allow ample time for the fat to expel completely from your body. While you are able to have up to 12 sessions, most clients will do anywhere between 5-10 before achieving their desired results. Maintenance treatments will be required to upkeep results.

What is the Fibroblast/Plasma Pen treatment?Fibroblast/Plasma Pen treatment is the only cosmetic treatment to use plasma to reduce the volume of excess skin. This treatment is low risk, has minimal downtime and more affordable than surgery. Fibroblast Treatment is known for it's success with Non Surgical Eye Lifts, Tummy Tightening, Neck Tightening and so much more.
-
Why does it have two names? Is fibroblast and plasma pen the same treatment? This treatment has two different names in the beauty industry, however both of them are the same procedures and use the same machines. The treatment name 'fibroblast' derives from the fibroblast cells which are stimulated during this procedure. The other treatment name 'plasma pen' comes from the name of the machine which is used for this procedure.
-
What are fibroblast cells?Fibroblasts are active cells in the dermis. Their function is to increase the productions of fibres, collagen and glycosaminoglyÂcans. The number and productivity of fibroblasts decline with age. Their density gradually begins to deÂcrease and fibroblasts in connective tissue rarely undergo division. Small injuries from plasma stimulates fiÂbroblasts to produce new collagen and elevates elastin levels.
-
What does the plasma pen do?The Plasma pen ionises gas in the air to create a small plasma flash. When the plasma touches the skin surface, the heat widens and is transferred into the epidermis all the way to the papillary layer which contains fibroblast cells. The skin then contracts and tightens, tones and lifts. Overall, this method activates healing, and this leads to the skin remodeling and improvement in various signs of aging
-
How many sessions do I need? How long do results last? Results are immediate! So a single session is often all you need, as all clients see results post-treatment. However, follow up treatments can be performed after 8-12 weeks if needed. Results are expected to last 1 - 2 years. Results and the required sessions can vary each client, as it depends on the aging of the skin, its decrease in elasticity and how deep the wrinkle lines are.
-
What happens during the procedure? How long does it take?During the procedure, you will discuss your desired treatment area. This consultation will be roughly 10-15 minutes, as you will also need to fill in the consultation from. Numbing cream will then be applied to the area and will be left on for 40 minutes. The actual treatment on the skin can take about 30 minutes-1.5 hours, depending on the size of the area and if more than one area is being treated.
-
Does it hurt? How long do the spots last?It is similar to hair removal laser, where you will feel mild zaps (not as strong as hair removal though!). Numbing cream will be applied to minimise this feeling. The carbon crusts will show immediately and are expected to fall off from 3-5 days (can be up to 7). There is minimal downtime compared to other treatments/surgeries.
-
Who is an ideal client? Are there any limitations?- The client should be in good health at the time of the appointment, with no preexisting health conditions. Swelling in the eye area is to be expected for 2-3 days following an upper eyelid treatment. To avoid any more serious side effects such as hyperpigmentation and to ensure the best results, follow the aftercare recommendations given to you by your technician.
