BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
We are by appointment only! We do not accept walk ins.
How to Book:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment time in our system. For discounted/sale treatments, a full deposit is required to be paid.

A tentative booking will be given to you until deposit has been made to secure your booking. All bookings will be on hold for you for 10 minutes on our booking system. If deposit is not made in this time, your tentative booking will be released. If you have not paid a deposit this means you are also not booked in for that time and are not on our system.

After deposit is paid, a reminder text message will be sent to your mobile number at 10.00am the day prior to your appointment which you will need to confirm by replying "Y". Confirming this message means you are 100% booked in for your appointment time.

If you fail to reply "Y" to this text message, then your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment time slot may be given to another client.

When you arrive to your appointment, please arrive at your appointment time, as we will not take you in any earlier. We may be with another client, preparing for your treatment, sterilising equipment or on break, please be mindful of this.

Booking and Cancellation Policy for Bookings:
Please understand our time is as valuable as yours. All cancellations and reschedules must be completed before 8.00am the day prior to your appointment to avoid a loss of deposit. A reminder text will be sent to clients at 10.00am the day before their appointment, however all cancellations and reschedules must be made prior to this text message, as it is only a courtesy reminder text. If you fail to reply "Y" to this text message, then your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment time slot may be given to another client. If you cancel or ask to reschedule your appointment after 8.00am the day prior through to your appointment time - due to sickness, covid-19, traffic or inability to attend you will forfeit your appointment and deposit and NO reschedule will be given. Reminder, the full deposit paid at booking is non-refundable and non-transferable to another person at all times. If you are late to your appointment by 15 minutes your appointment may be cancelled and your session/deposit will be forfeited.
If a last minute cancellation is made from less than 8.00am the day prior to their appointment, the client will lose their full deposit.
By paying the deposit, you agree to the cancellation policy.

No Show Policy for Bookings:
No shows result in full payment of the whole treatment service being forfeited. An automatic fee will be charged to the clients card for the remaining 50% treatment non-deposit payment if a client does a no show. A client will no longer be booked and will be blocked from booking on our online system, if they do a no show.
By paying the deposit, you agree to the No Show policy and accept your card being charged the remaining 50% service non-deposit payment.

All cancellations and reschedules must be completed before 8.00am the day prior to their appointment to avoid a loss of full session payment (the session which is being cancelled) from the pre-paid package. A reminder text will be sent to clients at 10.00am the day before their appointment, however all cancellations and reschedules must be made prior to this text message, as it is only a courtesy reminder text. If you fail to reply "Y" to this text message, then your deposit will be forfeited and your appointment time slot may be given to another client. If you cancel or ask to reschedule your appointment after 8.00am the day prior through to your appointment time - due to sickness, covid-19, traffic or inability to attend you will forfeit your appointment and deposit and NO reschedule will be given. Reminder, all pre-paid packaged are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person at all times. If you are late to your appointment by 15 minutes your appointment may be cancelled and your session will be forfeited.
Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
By paying for a full pre-paid package, you agree to the cancellation policy

Booking and Cancellation Policy for Groupon Bookings:

Groupon Voucher Security Code needs to be sent to the merchant (Skinmetics Clinic Australia) prior to your appointment for security reasons. Voucher will not be redeemed until your first appointment has been completed, unless you fail to comply with the following booking agreement.

Please understand our time is as valuable as yours. Reminder, all cancellations and reschedules must be completed before 8.00am the day prior to their appointment to avoid a full loss of the cancelled session (Client will have the remaining sessions left on the voucher). In cases where the client has not commenced their sessions yet, then the Groupon voucher will be automatically redeemed by the merchant and the session cancelled will be forfeited from the total sessions remaining on the voucher.

In the case of no shows, the Groupon voucher will be forfeited for the full total value and will be redeemed by the merchant. The client will not be able to rebook for a future session.

You must also confirm your appointment by replying "Y" to the reminder courtesy text which will be sent to you 10.00am the day prior to your appointment. If you fail to reply "Y" to this text message will mean that your appointment is not confirmed and cancelled.

If you cancel or ask to reschedule your appointment after 8.00am the day prior through to your appointment time - due to sickness, covid-19, traffic or inability to attend you will forfeit your appointment session and NO reschedule will be given.

If you are late to your appointment by 15 minutes, your appointment may be cancelled and your session will be forfeited.

Vouchers are non-transferable to another person.

By booking in your first Groupon session, you have agreed to these booking and cancellation policy for Groupon bookings.

COVID-19 Booking and Cancellation Policy:
COVID-19 is no longer an unprecedented pandemic and is now considered a well known event. Upon booking your appointment, you are well aware that you may be subject to Covid or flu-like symptoms at anytime and agree to the following cancellation policy in relation to Covid. If you feel sick, have developed flu-like/Covid symptoms or have not been considered a confirmed case of Covid-19 yet but are waiting for Covid test results, you are required to inform the Skinmetics Clinic staff no less than 8.00am the day prior to your appointment. Reminder, the full deposit paid at booking is non-refundable or transferable to another person at all times. A reminder text will be sent to clients at 10.00am the day before their appointment, however all cancellations and reschedules must be made prior to this text message, as it is only a courtesy reminder text. If you cancel or ask to reschedule your appointment after 8.00am the day prior through to your appointment time - due to sickness/flu, covid-19 or inability to attend you will forfeit your appointment and deposit and NO reschedule will be given.
If the client has purchased a package and/or a Groupon Voucher during the Covid-19 period, the cancellation polices in regards to pre-paid packages and Groupon will also be applied (Please see Pre-Paid Package Bookings and Groupon Bookings Policies above).
If the client has purchased a package and/or Groupon Voucher during the Covid-19 period, it is also the client's responsibility to understand that they are purchasing multiple sessions in a pandemic period which means that at any time due to lockdowns/restrictions the service may not be in operation. For this reason, we are unable to issue new packages and/or Groupon, as prior to purchasing you have understood that Covid-19 is no longer an unprecedented pandemic and is now considered a well known event and at any time your schedule for your packages may be impacted at any time. Therefore, our services will only be granted to your remaining sessions left from the package and new package/sessions will not be re-issued.
By paying the deposit, you agree to the cancellation policy to Covid-19

Credit Policy:
If you are granted a credit under your profile for a special circumstance (if approved by the Skinmetics Clinic Management Team), they will only be held for 12 months. After the 12 months from the credit issue date, the credit will be expired and no longer redeemable on a service/s.

Face-to-Face and Live Zoom Training Courses Booking and Cancellation Policy:
All Face-to-Face and Live Zoom Training Courses require a non-refundable and non-transferrable $300 booking deposit per training day. Once the deposit is paid, there are no refunds and deposits cannot be credited nor transferred to another date or to another person upon payment and confirmation of training.
In relation to COVID-19, Covid is no longer an unprecedented pandemic and is now considered a well known event. Upon booking your appointment, you are well aware that you may be subject to Covid or flu-like symptoms at anytime and agree to the Face-to-Face and Live Zoom Training Courses non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit policy.

Models for Training Courses Booking and Cancellation Policy:
Please understand our time is as valuable as yours. By booking in a model session, you are assisting someone to complete their training course on this day and they are heavily reliant on your commitment and punctuality to attending on this day to do their practical assessment. Please understand if you cancel or do a no show, the trainee will not be able to complete their training and they will need to again book and pay to train on another day which heavily impacts the trainee and our business/time. Reminder, all model payments are non-refundable or non-transferable to another person.

TRAINING AND TREATMENT ROOM RENTAL Booking and Cancellation Policy:
All Room Rentals (Training Room and/or Treatment Room) require 100% full payment per training day and room to secure and lock in the room rental. Once the full payment is paid, there are no refunds for change of mind (see below for last minute cancellations) and deposits cannot be credited nor transferred to another date or to another person upon payment and confirmation of rent.
We require more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled room rental date to be informed of any cancellations. In the case of not notifying Skinmetics Clinic within the 72 hour cancellation notification period, the total 100% full rental payment will be forfeited and paid to Skinmetics Clinic. If we are notified before the 72 hours, 50% of each room/per day rental will be forfeited and paid to Skinmetics Clinic.
