ABOUT BB GLOW TREATMENT
BB Glow treatment is a semi-permanent makeup procedure, that allows you to achieve glowing, radiant, seemingly pore-less skin after 2-3 sessions lasting up to 4 months. It is a safe skin treatment that can assist in reducing the appearance of freckles and lightening of the skin tone. It also benefits skin discolouration caused by acne, photo-ageing and age spots. MTS (micro-needling) is one of the procedures used during the treatment. It gives clients an immediate skin brightening and rejuvenating effect.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY SERVICE?
The process is the same as microneedling, which works by rolling tiny needles across the skin. The microneedling device is a highly effective way to increase the skin's production of collagen and elastin. The punctures created by the microneedling device forces the skin to heal and become stronger. One of the main benefits of basic micro needling is stimulation of natural collagen production and skin rejuvenation, where the BB Glow serum infuses incredible nutrients and most importantly the color tint you desire. BB Glow treatment consists of infusing a pigment serum which contains the composition that can be classified into 5 groups:

PREPARATION AND AFTERCARE
Preparation

On the treatment day, it is recommended that no make-up is worn on the treatment area.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to the appointment

Ensure area being treated is cleansed

During the 14 days before treatment, your skin needs increased care. It is recommend to use products with glycolic acid, vitamin C and retinol. Be sure to use products with UV protection, and the level of filters should not be less than 50 SPF.
Aftercare

No make up: Do not apply make up for at least 24-48 hours

Avoid swimming: No swimming, sauna or baths for at least 7 days

Sun exposure: Avoid prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks. Clients need to wear high factor SPF post treatment

Avoid alcohol: should be avoided for at least 48 hours post treatment. Clients should be drinking plenty of water.

Skin care: No exfoliators, harsh soaps/products for 1 week. During the first 24 hours, do not wash face or use any moisturisers.

No exercising: No excessive sweating for 1-2 days post treatment

Maintenance treatments will be required to upkeep results. Results are cumulative so regular sessions are recommended to increase longevity and enhance coverage.

We recommended a minimum of 5 sessions with an interval of 1-2 weeks to maximise results. 5+ session results can last up to 4-6 months. Although the effect can be seen immediately, it will be fully visible after 6-8 weeks (after a course of 3-4 procedures with an interval of 2 weeks). To achieve maximum results it is important to follow the rules of skincare and not use any detergents for 3-5 days.
Note: The results may change within 2 days post treatment. Pigment may become more visible.
